IRON WOD
A cross-training workout timer, workout log and training-analysis app for Android.
IRON WOD helps athletes run structured workouts (AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, For Time, custom intervals and more), log results, track progress over time, and follow along on a TV or Chromecast display during a session.
What it does
- Structured workout timers with voice and sound cues (AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, For Time, custom intervals)
- Workout logging and history, with performance and progress analytics
- A built-in workout/exercise library, with support for custom WODs
- Iron Coach: a daily workout suggestion that adapts to the athlete's check-in, level, equipment, preferences and physical limitations
- Several athlete profiles on one phone, plus a Coach profile for running a class
- Max lifts with percentage tables and a plate calculator
- Optional heart-rate tracking via compatible Bluetooth devices
- Casting the live timer to a TV via Google Cast or a wired HDMI/USB-C connection
- A home-screen widget with the week's training days and the last session
- Optionally sending finished sessions and heart rate to Health Connect (write only)
- Optional backup to Google Drive, with each athlete using their own Google account
Your data
IRON WOD stores your training data on your device. It does not require an account, and does not run its own cloud backend. If you turn on the optional Google Drive backup, each athlete's data is saved only to a private area of that athlete's own Google Drive that the developer cannot access. If you turn on Health Connect, IRON WOD only writes your finished sessions there and never reads anything back. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
